In June of 2016 I did a fascinating and wonderful private birding trip with Pablo Cerqueira and Andrew Whittaker to Northeast Brazil (Belém Area of Endemism Tour + Piauí and Maranhão Extension Tour). This trip was so much fun and incredibly unique for hard to see species, possible new species and very interesting subspecies as well. The Cikel (Paragominas) reserve was especially magnificent with so much good forest remaining. I highly recommend a trip to the Northeast with Pablo! He is very knowledgeable, current on taxonomy of this region and a wonderful person to be with in the field.

So thank you again for guiding. Good company and you worked really hard for some of those birds. We did get a nice list of some very special species by the end. Thank you also for showing me something of Belem and it’s food. Great trip. Always happy to come to Brazil and hopefully will be back soon.

To be honest, we are struggling to think of any obvious ways in which we might have had a better experience with you.
